No Posting in FOREVER
Sorry to those who are following my blog, I haven't been with it and posting anything. Kinda stopped the weightloss goal. Me and my husband found out we are pregnant!!! After 3 prevous miscarriages I am a little on edge with nerves. So I am trying to just keep myself healthy and stress-free. Went to the Dr yesterday and had our 2nd ultra sound. Little baby was wiggling so much that they had a hard time getting the heartbeat. Finally they got it and everything is looking good, I am 10 weeks along tomorrow. Found out I have a blood clotting disorder and that I will have to be on some heavy duty blood thinners which is kinda freakin me out. Anyways just thought I would drop a line saying I haven't forgotten about you all and let ya know whats new in my world. Thanks for reading!

Week 1 down the DRAIN! 16 more to go!
YAY! We totally made it through week 1 and there is only 16 weeks left. I'm feeling great about this first week, even more excited now than last week. My picture for week 2 is:
I feel stronger than ever now. I am down from 227 pounds to 225.4 in which I am proud of for last week! My goals that I have for this week are to exercise more ( I just got home from Day 1 on my beginners running schedule- and I feel GREAT!) I recently created a Day Zero List in which I will be posting on here soon... I am totally stoked to start it. There is nothing greater than feeling some great motivation. I am even inspiring my best friend, in turn it will make me strive to do better as well. My husband recently left to go TDY for a month due to his job and my goal while he is gone is to lose 8 pounds. Wish me luck!

Few of my "new" vices
*Splurge Free Drink!!!
So I'm such a fan of Starbucks...yes I know, wasted calories when you consume them in drinks but sometimes it's hard to resist. The other day I was stopping at my local Albertson's to pick up a few groceries, and of course my Albertson's has a Starbucks in it, leading me to a craving...when I got to thinking. I wonder if I can make a fat free, sugar free Italian soda. I found some sugar free vanilla syrup, club soda, fat free half and half, and ice. Went home and made the greatest "splurge" drink ever It's basically calorie free (only about 10 calories for the amount of half and half I use) and it totally beats a Starbucks drink any day in my book (because I know it's a calorie free drink!!) Here's my recipe:
Glass full of ice, fill it about 3/4 way full with club soda. Add 1 tsp or 2 of fat free half & half, add any flavor syrup to taste. Stir and enjoy!
* Dance Dance Revolution
Some might think I am a total geek, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Dance Dance Revolution, it's a video game where you dance to the beat of the song playing while you have to choreograph your steps with the screen at the precise moment. It's a challenge, but if you got a little rhythm- You can totally do it!! I love the great workout you get with it, without even knowing that you are working out.
So today I totally challenged myself while playing, I would dance a song, then immediately go and run 5-10 suicides in my basement. Killer workout and it was great knowing that I am conditioning myself to run.
So tonight I must say I feel like I totally accomplished something! And that is truly one of the greatest feelings! Goodnight Blogworld!

Day 1- Here goes nothing!
Well it's the first day of my blog- I have decided to do a blog to help hold myself accountable. I am ready for a change, now I just gotta prove it. Today I started a personal challenge. It's called Drop Dead Gorgeous by December. Every week I have to email a picture with a positive sign and some goals to the challenge holder. I think this is a great motivation challenge and I am excited to do it. This is picture number 1 and YES- I can SO do this. Wish me luck!
